CLOUGH WANTS FIT BREWERS

LEAGUE ONE NIGEL Clough is hoping Burton’s treatment room will empty soon as the busy Christmas schedule approaches.

The Brewers have been without Ben Turner, Marvin Sordell, David Templeton and Ben Fox.

The club have six games between December 15 and January 5 and Clough wants plenty of options.

“We need to err on the side of caution,” Clough, 52, said. “We have the busy Christmas period coming up.

“With all the games in the next four weeks you can propel yourselves up the table. It’s a busy period and we need to get everyone fit.”
