BOATENG RETURN ON CARDS

LEAGUE TWO EXETER manager Matt Taylor says Hiram Boateng is getting “closer and closer” to a return from injury.

The 22-year-old midfielder has been sidelined since October with a hip problem.

However, Taylor said: “Hiram is getting closer and closer, but he is still a few weeks away.

“We won’t rush him, but we know what an important player he is for us and we can’t wait to have him back.”

Taylor added that Alex Hartridge is “coming back into the fold”, but fellow defender Troy Brown is still a couple of months away.
