A coffee morning was held in Castle Douglas on Saturday to help orphans in Africa.
Jenny Spence organised the fundraiser in the Gordon Memorial Hall in aid of Abbas Rest orphans in Malawi. As well as being able to enjoy a cuppa and sample some tasty baking, people who dropped in could also browse a variety of stalls.
The event was visited by Madge Irving, a trustee with the charity.
Jenny and friends would like to thank everyone who helped and supported the coffee morning, which raised a total of £511.
