Crossmichael of yesteryear
Crossmichael residents are being urged to look out their pictures of life in the village.
The Wee Book Hoose team have organised a special exhibition of old and new photographs called “A Photograph Tells A Thousand Words” in the Gordon Memorial Hall for the end of May.
And they’re looking for submissions for the exhibition with a special prize for the oldest photo.
Old and new photos can be brought to the event between 11am and 12noon on Friday, May 25.
The exhibition will run from 2pm to 6pm on May 25 and 26 with the competition winners announced at 3pm on the Saturday when the village’s living history project will be announced.
All photos will be returned and can be collected at the end of the exhibition.
