Cross­michael res­i­dents are be­ing urged to look out their pic­tures of life in the vil­lage.

The Wee Book Hoose team have or­gan­ised a spe­cial exhibition of old and new pho­to­graphs called “A Pho­to­graph Tells A Thou­sand Words” in the Gor­don Memo­rial Hall for the end of May.

And they’re look­ing for sub­mis­sions for the exhibition with a spe­cial prize for the old­est photo.

Old and new pho­tos can be brought to the event be­tween 11am and 12noon on Fri­day, May 25.

The exhibition will run from 2pm to 6pm on May 25 and 26 with the com­pe­ti­tion win­ners an­nounced at 3pm on the Satur­day when the vil­lage’s liv­ing his­tory project will be an­nounced.

All pho­tos will be re­turned and can be col­lected at the end of the exhibition.
