Gal­loway Coun­try Fair re­turns to Drum­lan­rig Cas­tle and Coun­try Es­tate on Satur­day and Sun­day, Au­gust 18 and 19, as one of the big­gest events in the Scot­tish ru­ral cal­en­dar.

And to cel­e­brate, we’ve joined forces with the team from Drum­lan­rig to of­fer Gal­loway News read­ers the chance to win one of five fam­ily passes, worth £32, for the pop­u­lar event.

The 2018 Fair has an ac­tion packed pro­gramme of en­ter­tain­ment with a head­line per­for­mance from stunt team Les Amis D’Onno as well as event favourites the Dog and Duck Show, Sheep Show, gun­dog dis­plays from John Hal­stead and a scurry pro­vided by Gal­loway Gun­dogs.

Vis­i­tors can get in­volved in the ac­tion as there will be plenty of ac­tiv­i­ties to try in­clud­ing a 4x4 route spon­sored by Border Cars, gun­dog scurry, clay shoot­ing and cast­ing clin­ics, as well as an ex­cit­ing free chil­dren’s ac­tiv­ity zone.
