Kirkcud­bright will wel­come the mag­nif­i­cent Sea Hames Horse to­mor­row to mark the 15th year of the town’s arts and crafts trail.

The 18-foot willow sculp­ture was made by Trevor Leat and Alex Rigg as part of the per­for­mance com­pany Oceanallov­er’s pro­duc­tion Sea Hames.

The oc­ca­sion will be­gin with mu­sic by the Uke­frol­ics at 5pm and a chance to see the Mil­lisle Cly­des­dale horses and car­riage. Oceanallov­er’s per­for­mance, ex­plor­ing the themes of land, sea and horses, starts at 6pm.

All are wel­come on the Moat Brae in Kirkcud­bright to en­joy an amaz­ing evening of free en­ter­tain­ment. The arts and crafts trail runs from Au­gust 3-6.
