The mane attraction
Kirkcudbright will welcome the magnificent Sea Hames Horse tomorrow to mark the 15th year of the town’s arts and crafts trail.
The 18-foot willow sculpture was made by Trevor Leat and Alex Rigg as part of the performance company Oceanallover’s production Sea Hames.
The occasion will begin with music by the Ukefrolics at 5pm and a chance to see the Millisle Clydesdale horses and carriage. Oceanallover’s performance, exploring the themes of land, sea and horses, starts at 6pm.
All are welcome on the Moat Brae in Kirkcudbright to enjoy an amazing evening of free entertainment. The arts and crafts trail runs from August 3-6.
