Arrow Season 6 (5)

The Galloway News - - THE WEEKEND TICKET -

Thankfully Arrow’s sixth run continues its immediate predecessor’s return to more realistic storylines.

Stephen Amell’s vigilante hero is put through the wringer as both friend and foe test his morals and loyalty to extreme levels.

The season suffers, though, from a lack of great villainy, with the true big bad character only revealing himself more than half-way through.

Some of the fractures within Team Arrow also feel slightly contrived and tend not to last long, making Amell’s cohorts come across as whiny troublemakers.

It all ends on a high, emotional note, however, with a cracking final couple of episodes that leave one heck of a starting point for season seven.
