The Corsock Christmas Craft Fair will take place on Sunday.

The fair has been held for more than 20 years on the first Sunday in December and, for a lot of people, marks the beginning of Christmas in Galloway.

Committee member Jools Cox said: “The fair was set up to support local craftspeople, those who make a living from their work and those who like to make something special just for Christmas.

“There is always an exciting mix of quality gifts you won’t find anywhere else.

“By shopping at the craft fair you will find fabulous presents, help the sustainability of your local economy and reduce your carbon footprint.

“The fair will take place in the village hall from 11am to 3pm and there will also be teas, cakes and coffee.”

Tickets for the Corsock Christmas Ceilidh, which is on December 28, will be on sale.
