A craft evening was held by Kirkcudbright SWI.

Margaret Hainey helped fellow members make a paper fir cone using a foam egg as a base.

She had cut small squares of decorative paper for them to use. They folded the paper into triangles and pinned them to the egg, overlapping as they moved down.

Members will finish them at home with decorative bows so they can be hung on Christmas trees. Margaret was thanked for demonstrating a new craft.
