Talks proposed on park security

The Galloway News - - FUNERAL-NOTICES.CO.UK -

Improving security at a holiday site in Castle Douglas will be discussed by councillors next week.

The move follows complaints over unauthorised camping at Lochside Caravan Park, pictured, in September.

A report to the Castle Dougas Common Good Fund sub-committee states: “There have been a number of instances of unauthorised access of vehicles within the park which has caused concerns.

“These were monitored by the community safety team via appropriate legislation.”

Councillors will be asked to approve starting talks with park users, community groups and the community council on security upgrades.
