Racing sim in an exclusive Club
Gear.Club Unlimited Nintendo Switch
While the Switch may have Mario Kart 7, no one could possibly call it a driving simulator in the mould of Gran Turismo or Forza.
Step forward Gear.Club Unlimited, the first genuine racing sim to hit the console.
In truth, ‘sim’ is probably the wrong term — gameplay is more Ridge Racer than Forza but that arcade feel actually ticked a lot of boxes for me, especially in split-screen multi-player.
The selection of cars isn’t the greatest but there are more than 400 tracks which deliver short, actionpacked races, helping you zip through challenges satisfyingly quicker than other racing games as you build up cash which can be used to upgrade your car.
It really is Unlimited fun.
