Primary principal waves ‘goodbye’
Pupils and staff at Hardgate Primary said goodbye to principal Morag Courten on Friday.
Mrs Courten retired at the end of term, having taught at the school for 20 years.
The parent council presented her with a necklace personalised with the dates she taught at the school.
And as Mrs Courten will shortly be heading to New Zealand to visit her children, the school community bought her a passport cover and some of the country’s currency.
They also presented her with vouchers for House of Bruar and Jenny Gardner Upholstery.
There are plans for an event once Mrs Courten returns from her trip.
