Glenkens com­mu­nity groups, char­i­ties and volunteers are be­ing in­vited to at­tend a road­show next week on the newly- launched Black­craig Wind Farm Com­mu­nity Fund,

Ad­min­is­tra­tors Foun­da­tion Scotland and grant- awarders Glenkens and Dis­trict Trust will an­swer questions.

Ad­vice on how to ap­ply and meet the fund­ing cri­te­ria will also be of­fered.

The fund is open to groups based in or benefittin­g res­i­dents in Bal­maclel­lan, Bal­maghie, Car­sphairn, Cor­sock and Kirk­patrick Durham and Cross­michael, Dun­score, New Gal­loway, Par­ton and St Johns Town of Dalry.

Grants from £500 to £25,000 will be up for grabs.

Drop-in ses­sions are: Bal­maclel­lan Vil­lage Hall – Mon­day June 3, 6-8pm; Glen­rid­dell Hall, Dun­score – Wed­nes­day, June 5, 6- 8pm; Par­ton Vil­lage Hall – Wed­nes­day June 12, 6-8pm; Dalry Town Hall – Satur­day June 8, 10-2pm; Cor­sock Vil­lage Hall – Satur­day June 15, 12-2pm
