David Lintern

Regular contributor David has been enjoying the snowy weather (and record-breaking low temperatures!) close to his home near the Cairngorms whilst out testing gear for future issues of The Great Outdoors. There’s been plenty of sledging with family, some frozen loch walks, and even some Gaelic-medium home schooling. He managed a brief overnight wild camp after Christmas; but having recently cared for his mum during the last weeks of her life, he’s looking forward to brighter times.
