The North Face brings out high-tech running footwear range
Carbon fibre and composite plate technologies feature in The North Face’s new VECTIV footwear. These shoes and boots have a 3D carbon filter plate that sits directly under the upper for extra stability, and a rocker geometry for forward propulsion. The North Face says that studies conducted by third-party researchers show that VECTIV footwear reduces downhill tibial impact by 10%, allowing runners to comfortably log more miles. Depending on the model, prices will be between £125 and £180. thenorthface.co.uk
