The Cuillin, Skye

“The Cuillin ridge is a spectacular place on any day, but I have never seen it looking so fine as on this Spring morning.

“Aiming to reach the summit of Bruach na Frithe for sunrise, I had my doubts as I walked through thick fog in the dark. When I finally broke through the cloud at 800 metres, I was almost shaking with excitement. I spent the next three hours photographing the clouds billowing around the ridge, wondering when I would next see such a perfect dawn.”
