A gentle circular walk steeped in history LLYN IRDDYN ROUND

Distance: 8.4km / 5.2 miles Ascent: 238m / 780ft Duration: 2 hours

Take the track through the gate in a southerly direction. Pass the Cromlech (burial chamber) on your right-hand side. Drop to Pont Fadog bridge, then take the eastern route towards Irddyn lake. Keep the lake on your right-hand side, continuing until you reach a path joining from the left. Drop down towards Pont Scethin, a famous drovers’ bridge steeped in history.

The Stone Age fort of Craig y Dinas is up on your left. Climb the path back up until you reach the gravel track, bear left and follow the track back to the car park.
