Helen Teasdale

Helen works as a Senior Instructor at Plas y Brenin, the National Outdoor Centre in Snowdonia, and is fortunate enough to live in north Wales. As a keen climber and mountaineer, Helen’s climbing career has led to many adventures across the world, including climbing high peaks in the Himalayas, and exploring many beautiful parts of the Alps. Helen is passionate about enabling her son to enjoy the outdoor environment, which has given her so much pleasure since she was a youngster – see her guide to hillwalking with kids on p66.
