Follow path up W bank of
Aira Beck for 500m. Bear L through gate and climb to
Park Brow car park.

Cross stile on far side of A5091 and join path to Glencoyne Head.

Go through gate in wall on open fell and bear L.
After path crosses wall gap, turn R, climbing beside wall.

At brow, head roughly W, quickly passing cairn on Birkett Fell. From highest point on
Hart Side, descend south-west. As path begins climbing again, keep R. At T-junction with clearer path, continue SW (initially pathless).

Turn L along ridge path, into Sticks Pass and then up to Raise. Descend SW.

From shallow saddle between Raise and White Side, turn sharp L. Bear L along broad path in valley bottom.

About 1.6km beyond hostel at Greenside, turn L along gravel lane. Turn L at A592. When pavement ends, drop R and follow shore path/road for 1km.

Cross A592 and continue on off-road path parallel with Ullswater as far as A5091’s junction with A592. Cross A5091. Walk around back of tearoom to return to car park.
