Take track W from the start for about 4km then cross Abhainn Shira by stepping stones.

Continue W (there’s another stream crossing) past Loch Dochard and over increasingly slabby ground to the high point at Coire Beithe.

The path descends SW alongside the river, passing Glenkinglass Lodge to reach the bridge over the Allt Hallater.

Once over the bridge, choose a direct ascent line W, heavily vegetated slopes at first, then rockier with height, to reach the summit cairn on Beinn nan Lus. Return by reversing the route.
