Ursula Martin

For the last 7 years Ursula has been walking or writing about walking. She wouldn’t call herself an adventurer – more of an extreme rambler. Wild camping and outdoor living is her way of life. To support herself, she is a baker, barmaid, kitchen porter and life model. Ursula’s first book, One Woman Walks Wales, is about her ovarian cancer diagnosis and her subsequent 3700-mile walk. Currently finishing a 5000-mile walk across Europe, which has continued despite the pandemic (see p62), she plans to tackle John o’ Groats to Lands End in January 2022. She’s then staying still to write the next book. After that? Who knows!
