New Suunto watch is smaller, lighter and with longer battery life

Suunto describes the new 9 Peak watch as “the thinnest, most powerful and uncompromisingly durable watch in brand history”. The watch is 37% thinner and 36% lighter than the Suunto 9 Baro, and is designed to fit under a sleeve and not catch on clothing or packs. There are two versions: the titanium variant at 52 grams and £629, and the slightly heavier but less expensive steel variant at 62 grams and £519. Battery life ranges from 25 hours in best GPS mode to 170 hours in GPS Tour mode. The 9 Peak also has an improved battery charge time
