Rab launches down ‘collect and recycle’ scheme

Rab has launched a down ‘collect and recycle’ scheme in conjunction with Italian down recycling expert Minardi Plume. Customers can send worn-out down products to the recycling service at Rab’s HQ in Alfreton, Derbyshire. The down is then sent to Minardi Plume where it is washed, treated and graded so it can be used in new technical products. Other materials from items are processed and recycled offsite. The scheme is part of Rab’s parent company Equip Outdoor Technologies’ long-term sustainability strategy to reach Net Zero by 2030. equipuk.com
