BLACK DIAMOND DASH VISOR

-

I’ve taken a bit of gentle stick for my love of visors; but bear with me and you will see how amazingly practical they are. I have thick, wavy hair, and ramming this under a sun hat on a hot day is counter-productive, especially if I’m working up a sweat. I love the way a visor shades my face but allows my head to breathe and dump heat. I can tie my hair right up, keeping it away from my neck and allowing airflow, helping to cool me further. I find it very versatile, because I can don a woolly hat or a buff over my visor on cooler days to keep my ears warm whilst still shading my eyes.

And so to the Dash Visor, which is lightweight simplicity itself. The soft, wicking headband is nice and deep, ensuring excellent coverage of the temples (which can be a danger zone with visors). The brim is flexible and crease-resistant, casting good shade over the forehead and eyes. It is secured in place by a wide band of elastic, a bucklefree design that is very friendly to anyone with long hair. Because there is nothing beyond the stretchiness to hold it in place, it’s good that the hat comes in two sizes. I have quite a large head, and the L/XL is a good fit for me.
