Walk N along A837 through Lochinver village.

Just before road crosses bridge over River Inver, go through pedestrian gate on R. Path heads upstream through woods beside River Inver. Ignore all paths heading L.

After following river for 2km – and having reached more open area – turn R along potentially muddy trail through heather.

After steady climb, go through gate and turn R along clearer path. Ascent continues, but not for long; path soon begins descending.

On reaching Glencanisp, pass to R of first substantial building and drop onto clear track. Turn R. Pass to R of old lodge and then head out of glen along access lane.

Turn R along A837. Car park is on L in 350m.
