HOW IT WORKS

The TGO Gear of the Year Awards work slightly differently to the public voting of the Reader Awards. Instead, in our gear categories, brands are invited to submit entries detailing new and innovative products they feel most deserving of recognition. Samples are submitted for testing and our panel of judges give them a good old thrashing out in the mountains. Judges then assess the products’ relative merits, with a particular focus on innovation, and decide on awards.
