Jack Wolfskin’s new waterproof jacket is made from wood and waste
The Terra Rise 3L bonds an outer made from Tencel Lyocell – a fabric derived from sustainably farmed trees – with Jack Wolfskin’s waterproof/ breathable Texapore Ecosphere membrane, which is made from reused/recycled pre- and post-consumer waste. Jack Wolfskin says, “the marriage of natural and recycled materials demonstrates an opportunity for the apparel industry to vastly improve its sustainability practices”.
The £350 Terra Rise jacket comes in hip-length men’s sizes and thigh-length women’s sizes. It has hand pockets and
wide cuff adjustments. A Medium size weighs 670g.
