ADD MITTS?
A mitt is always warmer than a glove given similar insulation/padding.
Air insulates, and fingers keep each other warm. Mitts are often the only answer for sufferers of Raynaud’s disease (a medical problem that causes decreased blood flow to the fingers).
Dextrous gloves are rarely weatherproof. If it’s very wet or windy, consider a pair of lightweight overmitts (eg Extremities Tuff Bags or Mountain Equipment Drilite Overmitt) to slip on over the top of liner-type gloves. They’re very lightweight and can be a genuine lifesaver.
