1 Start/Finish

Langcliffe car park (honesty box)

Across road take bridleway towards Settle. Up field through gateway, go R through gates 1km then, approaching ruined wall and signpost, climb L (E) on Dales High Way.

2 Climb to gate. Through gate fork R. Pass wall gap by cave. Follow Pennine Bridleway/Dales High Way E to join Stockdale Lane. Continue E, leave tarmac at Stockdale Farm, climb past summit cairn to junction by Nappa Cross. Follow Pennine Bridleway/Dales High Way E to road.

3 Go R, then L through gate. Follow wall to gateway; cross field to bottom of wall, climb steps to gate. Go R across Malham Cove, traversing limestone pavement to wall.

Go L, N, through National Trust gate along Watlowes dry valley. At wall keep R, follow Pennine Way around Comb Hill via Water Sinks to road.

4 Go R to Malham Tarn car park, then L. Follow Pennine Way round tarn, past Malham Tarn House to postbox approaching Home Farm. Bear L to road, keep L towards Malham, past High Trenhouse.

5 At junction take bridleway towards Langcliffe. Cross stepping stones, climb via gates to Pennine Bridleway at Gorbeck. Keep W, bearing S past Jubilee Cave then keeping R to road. Keep L on Pennine Bridleway towards Settle; through second gate drop R to gateway and return to start.
