Follow lane leading E from Evenjobb, steeply uphill, and take steps on L onto Offa’s Dyke Path. Turn L and go R at fingerpost on narrow path through pines. Go through gate, L at track and after 200m go R up steep steps. Continue on path and walk down to gate with evidence of dyke on R. 2
Cross lane and continue on Offa’s Dyke for 1km. Go L through farm gate, walk downhill on track and fork R after 250m to gate in corner. Cross lane and follow right of way across field, with hedge on R. Don’t cross river; turn L just before footbridge to stile and follow markers through fields, past oxbow lake, to veer L up to gate by lane. 3
Turn R and go L at Lower Litton Farm, through yard and through a couple of gates. Join grassy track up to next gate and open access land. Keep ahead over Litton Hill with choice of paths to top of Llan-fawr. 4
Descend S to meet track and continue to lane. Turn L and go R after 200m to farm at Dyffryn. Go through gate to climb shady track and turn L at top on broad track. Go straight over at T-junction with next track, take path to Hoddell Farm and continue to B4372. 5
Turn R for 450m and go L at first house onto track (holloway) named Rhos Lane. Continue to B4357, turn R and take first path on L, before church. Cross field to gate in far corner to return to Evenjobb.
