Fiona Russell

Fiona is an outdoor journalist, better known as Fiona Outdoors. Based on the Black Isle in the Scottish Highlands, she makes the most of the outdoors playground on her doorstep and enjoys trail running, hillwalking and gravel cycling. She has just ‘compleated’ all 282 Munros and is looking forward to exploring the coast this summer in her latest purchase, a sea kayak. Fiona has recently joined our gear review team, but in this issue she writes about her first solo wild camping experience.
