Vango and Trakke recycle old tents into new kit

In an exciting new collaboration, Vango and Glasgow-based backpack manufacturer Trakke are making packs and bags from old Vango cotton tents. The Past Tents Collection includes the 21-litre Wester Roll-Top Backpack. It weighs 1.1kg and costs £195. Similar in design but much smaller is the 11 litre Canna Backpack (650 grams , £120). Other products include the tiny 3-litre Wee Yin Micro Backpack (330 grams, £120), the 0.75-litre Zero Waste Sling, made of offcuts (135 grams, £35) and the 17-litre Force Tote bag, made from orange Force Ten tent fabric (100 grams, £35).
