As has been the case for well over a year now for cooking I had the Jetboil Stash system. It’s really time I used something different! This stove and pot system is just so convenient for one, however.

For use in the tent at night I took the Black Diamond Spot R400 head lamp. The Cairngorms is very familiar country to me, but I still carried map and compass and had OS mapping on my smartphone, as I knew that if there was dense mist

I’d still need them.
