Dur­ing the week, I don’t have the time or en­ergy to spend hours cook­ing. For those nights when we want food on the ta­ble fast, I reg­u­larly buy mush­rooms. There is lit­tle as good as sauteed mush­rooms on toast (think but­ter, gar­lic, pars­ley and creme fraiche), but here I thought I would try to recre­ate an ex­quis­ite plate of street food I had one late night in Bangkok. It is a real treat.
