• A re­port about the killing of swans in Kent (Five cygnets and their par­ents die in air­gun at­tack, 3 De­cem­ber, page 10), said the weapon used was an air­gun. The pel­lets shown in the ac­com­pa­ny­ing x-ray im­age sug­gest they were more likely to have been fired from a shot­gun, though the ex­act weapon used is not known.

• We re­ferred to the death of the jour­nal­ist Ja­mal Khashoggi “at the Saudi em­bassy in Tur­key”. Khashoggi was killed at the Saudi con­sulate in Is­tan­bul (May fo­cuses on Khashoggi killing rather than trade, 1 De­cem­ber, page 9).
