If the pres­ence of Alex Gib­ney as ex­ec­u­tive pro­ducer of this se­ries on the im­peach­ment pro­ceed­ings of Bill Clin­ton isn’t enough to sway you, per­haps you might be con­vinced by the fact that it fea­tures rare – and fre­quently frank – tes­ti­mony from the woman at the story’s cen­tre: Mon­ica Lewin­sky.

Af­ter a quar­ter of a cen­tury spent as zookeeper to the un­ruly po­lit­i­cal fo­rum, David Dim­bleby chairs his fi­nal edi­tion of Ques­tion Time. But, with the “mean­ing­ful vote” on Brexit hav­ing taken place just two days be­fore, it’s un­likely to be a gen­tle good­bye. In­deed, if things go as badly for Theresa May as some ex­pect, it could be the first edi­tion of the show un­der a new prime min­is­ter.
