Prosecutors review sex claim against Stallone

The Guardian - - WORLD - Agencies Los Angeles

Los Angeles prosecutors have said that their sex crimes team is reviewing a case against the actor Sylvester Stallone. The district attorney’s office gave no further details but said the case had been presented by Santa Monica police.

“My client categorically denies the allegations,” Stallone’s lawyer, Martin Singer, told CNN. “It’s outrageous that the DA’s office and police department would announce this … because it makes the public think that there’s something there.”

He claimed the woman who made the complaint had had a consensual relationship with Stallone in the 1980s.
