People walk to a Jubilee line train for “No Trousers on the Tube Day” yesterday. Starting in 2002 on the New York Subway with only seven participants, the annual event is now marked in more than 60 cities around the world. The participants wear all the usual winter clothing on their top half such as hats and gloves, but no trousers or skirts and are urged to keep a straight face.
