HITTING THE HIGH NOTES
Our weekly focus on Scotland’s biggest social events
A LARGE crowd gathered at Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballrom to see singer-songwriter RM Hubbert win the coveted award for his album, Thirteen Lost & Found. Among those in attendance were radio presenters Janice Forsyth and Vic Galloway, who presented the award to Glasgow-based Hubbert. Musicians from the other shortlisted acts were also there, as was Tjinder Singh from Cornershop. It was, said the organisers, a great night, and, in the words of one attendee, a “thrillingly sociable evening”.
