Dumbarton rocked

MOTORISTS came to a halt on a busy Scottish trunk road as scenes for actor David Tennant’s new film were filmed.

Queues were observed as the cast, including ex-Bond girl Rosamund Pike, shot sequences on the A82 between Dumbarton and Balloch for the BBC Films production What We Did On Our Holiday. The film is about a family who head to Scotland on a chaotic trip for their grandad’s 75th birthday. Tennant plays Doug, whose marriage to Abi played by Pike is breaking down as he returns to Scotland. Pictures: South West News Service
