Woman in court on murder charge

A WOMAN has appeared in court charged with murder after an alleged stabbing at a flat. Lorraine Foy, 36, from Baillieston, Glasgow, was injured in an incident in Cranhill on Saturday. She was taken to hospital but later died, police said. Tracy Meikle, 32, from Glasgow, made no plea when she appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court. She was remanded in custody.
