Ardbeg Peat Football Championship, St Andrew Square, Edinburgh, Saturday

An afternoon of mucky, whisky-fuelled fun in the centre of Edinburgh with Islay-based distillery Ardbeg. Starting at 12.30pm, the event will see teams battle it out for the coveted Peat Football Trophy on pitches knee-deep in peaty mud. There’s also a range of street food, games, plus a whisky bar and tasting area stocked with limited edition drams.
