Man dies at the scene of car crash

A MOTORCYCLIST has died after his machine travelled for around 300ft following a collision with a car

he man, whose age and identity have not been released, was pronounced dead on the A423 at Princethorpe, near Coventry.

An off-duty community first responder was first to arrive at the scene after the accident at about 9.15 last night, and was joined by two ambulances and a doctor.

An ambulance service spokeswoman said: “The motorcycle had travelled another 100 metres down the A423 following the impact.

“The motorcyclist had sustained multiple traumatic injuries.

“Sadly, after more than 40 minutes of resuscitation, nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead on scene.”

The car’s driver and passenger did not require hospital treatment.
