Kvitova recovering after hand surgery

PROSTEJOV: Tennis star Petra Kvitova is said to be recovering after successful surgery on her left hand following an attack by a knife-wielding intruder in her Czech home. The man who left Kvitova with severe hand injuries is still at large. Two-time Wimbledon champion Kvitova, 26, underwent nearly four hours of surgery and is expected to resume her career.
