The Herald

New cover price for The Herald

-

THE cost of The Herald goes up by 5p today from £1.30 to £1.35.

This increase, the first rise in the cover price in almost two years, has been necessary to continue to bring you the very best in quality Scottish journalism across news, sport, business and opinion in print and online.

It still means your weekday Herald is not as expensive as The Times (£1.40), The Scotsman (£1.50) or The Daily Telegraph (£1.60).

The cost of The Herald on a Saturday, which includes two high-quality magazines, will also go up by 5p from £1.70 to £1.75 from Hogmanay.

Taking out a subscription to The Herald reduces these daily prices considerably – to £1 Monday-Friday and £1.30 on a Saturday.

Details of our subscription offer can be found on page 21 of today’s paper.

We are proud to be the leading quality newspaper in Scotland and our dedicated team of journalists, which includes award-winning specialists and columnists, will continue breaking major stories and bringing you expert analysis during 2017 and beyond.
