Police in alert over prisoner on the run

POLICE have warned members of the public not to approach a man who has absconded from an open prison. Allan Strachan, 34, went missing four days ago after breaching a period of approved leave shortly after midnight on Thursday from HMP Castle Huntly on Tayside. Strachan has links to Springburn and Castlemilk in Glasgow.
