Student flats plan for Goldberg’s site

ALMOST 1,200 private flats and student rooms are set to be built on the former Goldberg’s site in Glasgow.

Plans have been lodged for the open land in the Merchant City, which until 1990 housed the famous department store.

If the proposals are given the go-ahead, the development would be the biggest city centre development since Buchanan Galleries was built.
