Plane had run out of fuel before crash

BRASILIA: The plane that crashed near Medellin, Colombia, with a Brazilian football team on board had run out of fuel, a preliminary inquiry said. Yesterday’s statement by Colombia’s Civil Aeronautics agency said the finding was based on the plane’s black box flight recorders.The plane crashed on November 28, killing 71 people. There were six survivors.
