City events for Hogmanay are sold out

TICKETS for Edinburgh Hogmanay’s Night Afore Concert on Friday, Concert in the Gardens, Candlelit Concert and the Old Town Ceilidh with Belhaven on Hogmanay as well as all events on Sunday, January 1 – The Stoats Loony Dook, Scot:Lands and The Final Fling – are sold out. The three-day Edinburgh Hogmanay Festival kicks off on Friday with the Torchlight Procession.

After the street party a free Hogmanay Night Bus Service runs throughout the capital for revellers supported by Diageo and the City of Edinburgh Council and provided by Lothian Buses.

The service starts at 12.20am and runs until 4am and will help around 20,000 people get home.

Edinburgh Trams are, for the first time, offering free Hogmanay Tram Services to ensure revellers can leave the city centre after the Edinburgh Hogmanay celebratio­ns. Free trams will run from midnight until 5am every 20 minutes. edinburghs­hogmanay.com
