Car tyres slashed in vandalism spree

THOUSANDS of pounds of damage has been caused after 10 cars were vandalised in Aberdeenshire. Officers said the vehicles were targeted in the village of Aberchirder between Boxing Day and yesterday. The tyres of the cars were also damaged and police are keen to establish the total number of vehicles affected. Drivers in the area are asked to check their cars and report any vandalism to police.
